What this process covers
This process covers grievances concerning Qoffee's news and current-affairs stories, podcasts, source attribution, corrections, and compliance with the Code of Ethics under Part III of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Privacy requests, account support, subscriptions, and account deletion can also be sent to support@getqoffee.com, but they may be handled under the applicable privacy, store, or consumer-support process rather than this editorial process.
How to submit an editorial grievance
Email support@getqoffee.com with the subject Editorial Grievance and include:
- Your name and a reliable email address.
- The Qoffee story or podcast title, URL, and publication date.
- A clear description of the concern.
- Any supporting source or document.
- The correction, clarification, removal, or other resolution you are requesting.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identity numbers, or unrelated sensitive personal information.
Response timeline
- Qoffee will acknowledge an editorial grievance within 24 hours.
- The Grievance Officer will review it and communicate a decision within 15 days of registration.
- Where a correction is warranted, Qoffee will make the correction or add an appropriate clarification as promptly as reasonably possible.
Escalation
If you are dissatisfied with Qoffee's decision, or no decision is communicated within 15 days, the grievance may be escalated to the applicable Level II self-regulatory body after Qoffee's membership is confirmed. The applicable body and escalation details will be included in the decision and published here after confirmation.
Transparency
Qoffee publishes periodic grievance statistics and actions taken on the Compliance Reports page.
